  • Class of 2007 Challenge Course
Escape a Jurassic-sized spider trying to catch your group in her web; walk like a cat across a pole with nothing to aid you; climb up to a suspended platform, stand on the edge and jump. These are just a few of the activities found at the Class of 2007 Challenge Course nestled in the woods of the Wissahickon. Trained facilitators will set the tempo and guide you on low and high elements specifically designed to enhance communication skills, set goals, make decisions, develop leadership, and find ways to solve problems, as a team.

  • Robotics
Faculty and students from the award-winning CHASS team will introduce you to our world champion robotics program. Experience firsthand our super cool robotics lab packed with awesome technology. Test your ingenuity and problem-solving skills as you design,
build, and program a Lego “bot” to compete in our very own CHASS Champs “Sumo Bot Challenge.”

  • ViDCAST Studio
See yourself on the Big Screen. Be the producer of your own film. Using all aspects of the iLife software suite (iMovie, iPhoto, GarageBand, and iWeb), you’ll get a taste of what Hollywood is really like in our state-of-the-art studio. Use a broadcast-quality camera to compose your own multimedia autobiographical video. There will be an opportunity to present your videos in a special viewing for parents at the end of the course.

  • Rowing Tank/Fitness Center
This is where it all begins for our crew teams. Strap in, grab an oar, and give our indoor rowing tank a try! Learn the fundamentals of one of Philly’s favorite sports in our first-class facility
where the varsity teams train year-round. Upstairs in our Fitness Center enjoy a circuit workout with our highly-regarded trainers.
